Phase 2 has been announced, finally!

While we were initially told that Phase 2 would be starting June 19, Alberta has done so well curbing Covid-19 illness that the Alberta government was able to move it forward to June 12.
As you may know by now, Amanda Roth and Jennifer Kowerchuk both moved their practices to a new location off Whyte Avenue: #202D, 7718 104 Street. While we are both eager to get back
to work, we must move into our new space and get set up before we can begin booking patients.

We are hopefully going to be able to see patients June 22 and will be opening up our schedules to begin booking in a few short days. We appreciate your patience during this time.

• If you had an appointment in late March, April or May that had to be cancelled, you will be given priority to re-book and will be contacted soon to do so.

We have implemented the following protocols in our new space in order to comply with the new regulations from the Alberta government to keep staff and patients safe:

When you arrive for your appointment:

• Please arrive on time for your appointment, no more than 5 minutes early. Our waiting room will have 2 plastic, wipeable chairs that are spaced 2 meters apart for social distancing.
• OR: Preferably, please wait in your car when you arrive at our clinic. We will contact you when we are ready for you and meet you at the front door to take you directly into your treatment room.
• You must wear a face mask as soon as you enter the clinic. This is especially important during your treatment since we won’t be able to maintain a 2-meter distance. While you are encouraged to bring your own mask, we can supply you a mask for a small fee to cover costs which can be added to your bill.
• You will be required to wash your hands immediately upon entering the clinic. We will have hand sanitizer available at the entrance of the clinic.
• One patient per appointment. We ask that you only bring yourself to your appointment to ensure physical distancing.

Pre-screening: Updates regarding Phase two and Covid protocols.

• As per provincial guidelines, we will now have a MANDATORY Covid-19 pre-screening questionnaire and waiver to be signed before every appointment.
• If you are sick, have a fever, cough, etc., please cancel your appointment. We will reschedule it for you after 14 days.
• Practitioners will also have to do a pre-screening before each shift. Please be patient with us if we need to reschedule your appointment.

Cleaning Procedures:

• Increased procedures for cleaning and disinfecting of high traffic areas. This includes doorknobs, light switches, desks, chairs, etc.
• Practitioners are required to wear face masks while in the clinic.
• All communal items that cannot be sanitized have been removed from the waiting area, such as brochures, magazines, water-cooler. Please bring your own water with you.
• Patients will be given a plastic, wipeable bin to place their clothes and possessions in for the duration of their treatment. Please limit the amount of items you bring in with you.
• Payment will now be taken online as to avoid the use of a point of sale machine, and to limit the amount of patient’s time in the clinic, please complete your patient profile in our
  new booking software Janeapp including payment information.

Booking changes:

• Until we get through the waitlist of patients that had to cancel their appointments during quarantine, we will be limiting massage treatments to 60 minutes.
• We will be working modified hours for the foreseeable future to allow for thorough cleaning of rooms and to limit contact between patients.
